Growing up in Broward by way of Palm Beach Kristen always knew she wanted to be a radio personality, so it was no surprise her dream became a reality at the age of 16. During her senior year of high school Kristen could be heard weekly on 99 JAMZ’s then night show, The Takeover, giving listeners the latest news on the culture in her “World of Hip-Hop” entertainment report. After graduating high school Kristen began working alongside her father, former 99 JAMZ morning show host and legendary Miami radio personality, James T. on our sister station Hot 105 informing listeners on “What’s Hot & Trending” from 10a-3p. While there she interviewed some of the biggest stars in Entertainment such as Kevin Hart, Keke Palmer and even our forever President Barack Obama. Shortly after Kristen attended and graduated from the highly regarded University of Florida, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Business. Kristen then checked another goal off her bucket list when she moved to NYC in 2020 to work for the Queen of All Media, Wendy Williams, on her nationally syndicated daytime show The Wendy Show. In just a few months she quickly went from just a staff member to being a part of Wendy’s inner circle and becoming her Production Assistant on set. Before the show ended in 2022 Kristen said she felt God calling her to come back home to South Florida. Not only is Kristen Kash excited to be back in the sunshine state but to also return to the station where it all began for her, here at 99 JAMZ. When she’s not behind the mic Kristen can be found spending time with her family, in the gym, or finding new restaurants to eat at around South Florida.
