The singer's beau Rihanna is up for "Female Hottie" and is competing with song, "Don't Stop The Music" against Brown's "With You" for "Choice Music Single." Florida native, Flo rida is vying for the "Breakout Artist" award against "American Idol" alum Jordin Sparks and U.K. native Leona Lewis. Diddy's boy band Day 26 received a nomination for "Choice Breakout Group" and his girls Danity Kaneare up for "Choice R&B Track" with their hit single, "Damaged." Damon Dash and his wife Rachel Roy are expanding their empire with the launch of a new venture they say will be worth $4 billion. Jay-Z's former partner and founder of Roc-A-Fella Records already has a vast portfolio consisting of apparel,entertainment, publishing, film, spirits, automotive and a non-profit organization. Now Rachel, who is married to Dame and the mother of his daughter, is following Dash's lead with the mega clothing venture just announced today between her, Dame, Jones Apparel Group and TSM Capital LLC. The venture is half owned by Jones Apparel, and the other half is split between Roy, Dash and TSM. The line is currently available in luxury department stores and select specialty stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks, as well as internationally. Angry, tired fans who had to wait into the wee hours of the morning for Kanye West to finally take the stage at the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee jeered him for his two-hour late appearance yesterday. Armed with glow sticks, the mob booed the rapper, chanted "Kanye sucks" and pelted the glow-in-the-dark spears at the empty stage, while others just returned to their sleeping bags, giving up on Ye, according to BBC News. Problems taking down the set for Pearl Jam, who'd gone on right before and played an hour late, plus difficulty getting up Ye's glow-in-the-dark backdrop - so his space ship could crash land on stage -- were blamed for the delay. Over 150 eclectic acts performed at the four-day festival, including comedian Chris Rock. Alicia Keys says she's not ready to be a mother just yet, but when the time is right, she'll consider adoption as a way to build a family. "I think that [adoption] is truly important to consider," A video has hit the net showing Young Buck dissing G-Unit and discrediting 50 Cent at a small club performance in Tampa, Florida over the weekend. R Kelly was acquitted on all charges in connection with his child pornography case. Jurors deliberated for about three hours Thursday and part of Friday before reaching their verdict. The jury cleared him on all 14 counts that prosecutors filed against him. Even though jurors in the trial of R. Kelly absolutely believed it was him on the tape, they could not reach a guilty verdict because they said there was "not enough evidence to prosecute." Five of the twelve jurors met with reporters immediately after handing down the acquittal. They said they just couldn't reach a verdict even though they voted on the hour, every hour because the alleged victim hadn't testified and refused to cooperate. As recently as this morning, we're told, the vote was split nine to three for a not guilty verdict. The jurors were also "absolutely disgusted" with the tape. Unlike the bootleg version you can buy on the street corner, the version they got to watch was "clear as day." ****all 12 jurors believe that it WAS R Kelly on the videotape. Jamie Foxx has reportedly settled a lawsuit brought against him by a former stylist who assisted him before the 2006 BET Awards and a press junket for the film "Miami Vice." Stacy Young claimed in her lawsuit that she was never paid for the work or her costs. According to documents filed Wednesday in Los Angeles, both parties have reached an undisclosed agreement to settle the matter out of court, reports the Associated Press. Foxx's attorneys denied the claims, saying Universal Studios, not Foxx, hired Young for the "Miami Vice" work. Young's attorney says their camp is "pleased" about the settlement, but declined to offer details. Def Jam artist Young Jeezy is releasing a new mixtape. The Prime Minister, which will be available for free download starting Saturday (Jun 14), is to serve as a prequel to Jeezy's highly anticipated third album, due out later this year. The new pre-album, now a tradition for Jeezy, will be available exclusively via the rapper/entrepreneur's latest venture,USDA2DAY.com,Ralph "Ralphie" Simms, an incarcerated former Black Mafia Family member, has alleged in court that rapper Young Jeezy received kilos of cocaine from BMF. The stunning claim was made in the cocaine-conspiracy trial of Fleming "Ill" Daniels, another alleged BMF member, according to Creative Loafing in Atlanta. Justice Department spokesman Patrick Crosby would not comment on whether the rapper is now being investigated due to the claims made by Simms. Snoop Dogg's wife was arrested Saturday morning (June 14) in Fullerton, California on suspicion of drunk driving. According to police, Shante Broadus, 32, was stopped around 12:15 am.
