In his only statement following his acquittal on child-molestation charges, Michael Jackson says, "Thank you to my family, friends and fans for all of your love and support." Meanwhile, Jacko's accuser is having a "difficult time" dealing with the verdicts, according to prosecutor Tom Sneddon. Finally, the Jackson family reportedly is pitching a six-episode reality series to various television networks, including ABC, Fox and the A&E Network.

Two years after the initial verdict, the U.S. 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed TVT's interference and fraud claims against Island/Def Jam and will walk away with $126,720. Originally filed in August 2002, the suit stems from Def Jam blocking the release of TVT's Cash Money Click album, which features Ja Rule and Irv Gotti. The suit said that Ja and Gotti received permission from Lyor Cohen to do the album. TVT Records spent $1 million producing and promoting the album for the Cash Money Click project. One of those songs appeared on Irv Gotti Presents The Inc. without TVT's consent. In May 2003 a jury sided with TVT's claims that Def Jam interfered with this agreement and on Tuesday awarded TVT $108 million in punitive damages and $24 million in compensatory damages, one of the largest awards in music industry history. In August 2004 the sum was reduced to $54 million. Now the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York concluded that TVT's claims for interference and fraud lacked sufficient evidence and will only award TVT $126,720. TVT's attorney said in a statement that the company will appeal the court's decision.

50 Cent's G-Unity foundation has just donated 10 scholarships worth $31,000 to Queensborough Community College in Bayside, Queens, New York. The scholarships will cover one year's tuition and a $300 book stipend. The Jamaica, Queens rapper attended Andrew Jackson High School in Cambria Heights in his native borough. The school is now called Campus Magnet High School. According to G-Unity consultant Nina Biggar, Fiddy dropped out, but later obtained his GED. According to director of development Laura Kotkin, the scholarships will be awarded to Campus Magnet High School students and two students from Queens' Springfield Gardens High School and Hillcrest High School. Since 50 wants the scholarships to go to "forgotten" students, applicants need only a minimum high school average of 70 or C to be eligible.

Ashton Kutcher and MTV were really upset when one of their "Punk'd" missions - with rapper Lil Jon - backfired. Apparently MTV and Ashton spent a lot of money and months planning a secret operation. Lil Jon was supposed to be on a private plane to Las Vegas, but customs agents claimed he and his entourage were boarding a plane bound for Ecuador. Lil Jon was onto them within minutes. He recognized some of the actors posing as security, told Ashton to come out from the back of the plane, and said, "Come on, you can't punk the motherf--ing King of Crunk!"

Robreno said those women could, however, seek confidentiality on an individual basis and he gave them 10 days to do so. The judge ruled that the allegations against Cosby by the other women may cause the actor serious embarrassment, but that alone did not justify a gag order.
