The LP was recorded in Baghdad with equipment purchased & sent from the U.S. Chicago emcee Common has partnered with celebrity design team Krispy Klean to release a pair of limited edition Nike Dunks. The sneaker hit stores earlier this week to coincide with the release of the conscious rapper's latest effort, BE. Just as eclectic as the emcee's taste, the Dunks are available in two different color schemes, red and brown or green in brown. Only 100 pairs of Com's sneaker will be available, retailing at a price of $350.00 per pair. Lil' Cease & Junior Mafia are preparing "The Chronicles of Junior Mafia Part II: Reloaded," a DVD addressing the group's involvement with Lil' Kim's perjury trial. During a recent interview Cease had this to say, "It's about the whole Kim case, all the mixed words going out about [how] we told [on her]," "I got all the evidence...to show what really happened." A production company is accusing brooklyn rapper turned model Lil' Kim of trying to sell video footage of her recent perjury trial without proper authorization. According to "The New York Daily News," Red Moxie owns the rights to the trial footage and reportedly has a tentative deal with an unnamed media outlet to air it after Kim's sentencing on June 24th. Red Moxie claims Lil Kim's representatives have been using the footage to pitch a reality television series even though she does not own the footage. Lil Kim's representatives deny all claims. Thousands of contestants might have flocked to audition for Diddy in the "Making Da Band" series, but people aren't scrambling much to spend a day with him. According to the San Francisco Examiner, a day with the mogul was among one of the items on the block during a recent charity auction. People at the auction were told their bids could purchase a day with Puff. Word is the auction anticipated high bids, but drew "no interest." A woman who claims she had an affair with former NBA star and Fox Sports Net sportscaster John Salley filed a lawsuit Friday alleging Salley mentally and physically abused her during the relationship. The suit, filed in Superior Court, alleges that the co-host of "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" met Laura Azevedo at Magic Johnson's "A Midsummer Night's Magic" charity event in 2002. The two began dating the following December after Salley told Azevedo he was going to divorce his wife, according to court papers. Azevedo alleges that Salley became increasingly jealous and abusive during their affair, until at one point he "began violently pulling and twisting" her left leg. The suit says that Salley paid for Azevedo to undergo an MRI, which revealed a torn knee ligament that required surgery. According to Diddy and Hylton-Brim representatives, the ruling represents the highest child support payment in state history. Combs recently said he intends to challenge the payments in the Court of Appeals and added that the court shouldn't have broken the $5,000 per month agreement the former couple previously established. Comedian Dave Chappelle has reportedly returned home to Ohio after a "spiritual retreat" in South Africa. Fans feared Chappelle had checked into a mental facility earlier this month when news circulated he'd halted his hit US comedy show Chappelle's Show to seek medical help in Africa. But the funnyman insisted he was just "stressed out" and needed a break. Tupac Shakur's mother, Afeni, is slated to introduce the TupacAmaruShakurCenter for the Arts in Stone Mountain near Atlanta next month. Back in 1997, Afeni founded Amaru Entertainment and has since released numerous posthumous Tupac albums, a documentary, and a clothing line through the imprint. Revenues from the various ventures were donated to The Tupac Foundation, which was created the same year as Amaru Entertainment. Two men connected to rapper 50 Cent's G Unit crew were injured --including one seriously -- after a shootout in front of a Queens, N.Y. nightclub late Thursday night, according the New York Daily News. Chris Tucker pleaded guilty to reckless driving and fleeing to elude in a Georgia court Tuesday. Actor/Comedian Dave Chappelle,31 has surfaced to combat rumors that he admitted himself to a mental facility in South Africa, "I'm not crazy, I'm not smoking crack," Chappelle told Time magazine in an interview a little over a week after Comedy Central indefinitely suspended his sketch comedy, Chappelle's Show, originally scheduled to debut May 31 for its third season. "I'm not in a mental facility," said Chappelle. "I'm definitely stressed out." he said he actually traveled to South Africa for a spiritual retreat, though his agent and publicist knew nothing of his whereabouts. The comedian also refuted claims that he was grappling with drug problems. Chappelle revealed that he left because he was displeased with the direction of his popular show. While Chappelle said he hopes to return and get his show underway, the comedian did not specify when or reveal a timetable. 50 Cent has cut a deal with prosecutors in Springfield, Massachusetts that will help the singer GET OUT OF POSSIBLY SERVING TIME in jail. The deal, which was negotiated May 13 , was the result of a legal case where 50 was accused of assaulting a pair of women and punching another one. In May of 2004, during a concert at the Hippodrome in Springfield, 50 leapt from the stage into the crowd after an unidentified individual tossed water on him. Upon leaping into the audience, the women were reportedly hurt. Following the rapper's outdoor performance at Hartwick's Frisbee Field, the girl filed a complaint that two men performing with Banks sexually assaulted her. The girl told police the alleged rape took place in a dressing room prior to the concert. According to police, the concert was intended for Hartwick students only. The alleged victim was not a Hartwick student. Days after the incident, police made a trip to StateUniversityCollege at Cortland where Banks was scheduled to perform. Authorities were hoping the trip could help resolve the investigation. StateUniversityCollege police stated that there were no reported rapes at the Banks performance and that no other problems occurred related to the show. Days after the incident, Oneonta Police Lt. Joseph Redmond revealed that the alleged assault remains under investigation and that they had two suspects. The two men were believed to be going by the nicknames Fuzzy and Busy. "I've been shooting a television show and recording an album, so it's hard," "For me, it's easy to not know that a payment is not paid because other people are supposed to pay them." Last year, Brown was jailed for a day after he failed to pay $63,500 in child support payments he owed Kim Ward of Stoughton. He was released after making the payment. Brown was summoned to court in March after falling behind on his payments. By Wednesday, Brown had caught up on the payments but still hadn't established the educational trusts he'd promised to set up years ago. Brown told the judge he had money coming in from reality TV and music projects. He is expected to make four payments totaling $160,000 within the next six months to establish the trusts.
