I cherish every moment of every minute, never taking our time for granted. Knowing that tomorrow maybe to late, so we make a memory on every God given day. Now all our thoughts are not so sweet, I can be rather hard, and under their breathe they whisper they hate me. In anger I never let our day end , I hug ‘em’ tell them I love ‘em’ and why God put me in charge of decisions. I’m no yes man, but I don’t always say no. I give a helping hand when they fall and allow them room to grow. As children ourselves we didn’t realize the patience that it took to be a good parent, the very best parent isn’t as easy as it looks. This is not a role in a play or something you just breathe through I take this very serious this is what I do. I’m expecting God to pat me on my head and say my child well done, not every person is blessed to have them, but I can say I am one. An Opportunity I will never regret, my life has changed tremendously for the better since the day we first met. When they touch me, hug me, kiss me, I’m like putty in their hands. I stand firm, I stand strong, believe me I stand. Once they’re grown and they leave home I know we will be friends. For now I’m mommy, yes I’m mommy and they are my CHILDREN!

I am amother to my girlfriend's son. I was with her for the entire duration of her pregnancy and this is my first child. Even though the baby is not my blood, no one can not tell me that is not my baby. Now that she and i have broken up we have split custody. I get the child from Thursday to Sunday and she keeps hime from Sunday to Wednesday. I feel like I was put in the place to help this woman with her child and i wouldn't change it for anything in this world.

I WENT THROUGH THE DEAD BEAT DAD THING 6 YRS AGO WITH MY SONS DAD HE KICKED ME OUT WHILE I WAS PREGNANT BECAUSE I CAUGHT HIM CHEATING ON ME INWHICH I HAD 2 LIVE IN MY CAR FOR 2 WKS AND THEN WE TRIED 2 WORK THINGS OUT BUT ONCE AGAIN WE FAUGHT WHICH LEAD ME INTO PRE MATURE LABOR AND THEN WHEN I CALLED HIM 2 COME SEE HIS SON ALL HE SAID WAS THAT WHEN HE HIT ME HE WAS HOPING THAT WHEN I WENT INTO LABOR ME AND OUR UNBORN SON WOULD DIE ON THE TABLE AND THAT HE WANTED NOTHING 2 DO WITH MY BABY... BUT IM GLAD HE DID BECAUSE IM HAPPY NOW BECAUSE I HAVE 4 BEAUTIFUL KIDS 2 THAT ARE FROM ME AND 2 ADOPTED AND A MAN THAT LOVES NOT ONLY ME BUT ADORES MY KIDS. I COULDN"T ASK GOD 4 ANYTHING BETTER... HE HAS BLESSED ME!!!

I'm a single mom of 3, and I'm 23 years old. I live on my own, go to school full time and work full time. I'm not writing to talk down on theses dad's or anything, but I wish I could get some type of assistance whether it be government assistance or child support. I take care of my kids because their mine regardless if their father's where here or not thet're mines. My kids get sick or when they're hungry they don't look for daddy they look at me. I believe in Jesus and Faith.
